Daniel is also a Statistical Consultant in the Department of Statistics at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland. He attended the University of Auckland as an undergraduate, before obtaining a PhD in Statistics from the University of Washington. After working at Penn State and the National Institute of Statistical Sciences (NISS), he returned to New Zealand where he worked at Massey University for many years before joining the University of Auckland as a Statistical consultant.
