Jim is also a paediatric infectious diseases physician at the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne and a vaccinologist. He is the Head of of Epidemiology and Surveillance for SAFEVIC at the Murdoch Children's Research Institute and holds the inaugural Chair in Child Health Informatics at the University of Melbourne. Jim serves on the Advisory Committee on Vaccines for the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration and is a member of the Brighton Collaboration Science Board.
